Filmed during a workshop made in collaboration with Tarren Johnson.
The Dancers is a short film about a group of performers whose philosophy is to cull movement from all aspects of everyday life. They copy movements they see on the street, conform their bodies into tableaus from collected pictures, and mimic each other's movements in real time. During rehearsals they embody their collected movements and craft a living collage of human experience that will be their debut performance, a true mirror of modern life. But their seemingly endless mirroring leaves the dancers with a slippery philosophical question: when and how should it ever end?
